i originally had planned to post this song as a small gesture of support and encouragement to the couples of rowan county, kentucky, who, due to the ignorance and misguided religious conviction of one woman, had been denied their legal right to marry the person they love. it feels so much better to post this in celebration of the marriage licenses that have now started being issued in that tiny burg in the bluegrass state. hate is denied. love and justice prevail. amen.
